A new series of salmon paintings are complete. I had a lovely king salmon from which to print. Here’s an idea of the process. You can see the completed paintings in the Fish Gotta Swim gallery.

- 1. Sand, prime, paint background.

- 2. Background is blended.

- 3. The fish shapes are blocked in.

- 4. King makes his entrance.

- 5. The fish is printed in black and then white.

- 6. Printing complete.

- 9. Painted size (glue) is tacky after an hour, lay down silver leaf.

- 10. Holes are drilled, nuts and bolts added.
